After the death of Lieutenant Alfo, Admiral Jackson send the 'impartial' Admiral, Admiral Knowles to conduct a review into the death of the Lieutenant.
The Admiral arrives aboard the USS Alamo. The Alamo docks with Asteria and beams the Admiral down.
Roberts meets him and escorts him to Blake's ready room along with the other senior officers.
Knowles is immediately aggressive and accuses Asteria of hiding something before getting into a fight with Roberts that almost leads to his arrest.
This continues into a full verbal battle that ends with Blake sending a complaint to command and forcing the Admiral to return to the Alamo.
Meanwhile, the Alamo was scanning the AI core of Asteria. Roberts was able to use this scan to access their computers and almost blew out their sensors, but refrains from doing so after the Alamo concludes her scan. Once the Admiral is back on board, the Alamo leaves at warp.
To conclude, Blake asks his real superiors to provide a fleet of cloaked vessels to help defend Asteria in the future.
