James keeps to himself quite a bit, he will very rarely interact with the crew when he is off duty. Due to experiencing a tragic accident during a training mission, that turned
very real, James always errs on the side of caution, he also has a tendency to request assignments aboard stations, rather than ships. Physch evals. have deemed this officer,
fit for duty, however.

James likes to spend his spare time in his quarters reading, or on the holodeck.
He dislikes parties or social gatherings, as he finds them pointless and un-entertaining.
Bio:
James was born on the 18th September 2407, to Ambassador Emily Roberts and Commander James 'Jim' Roberts. From a very young age, James has always wanted to be just
like his father, he always wanted to command his very own starship.
Unknown to James until much later on, his father, Jim Roberts, was undergoing medical treatment at Starfleet Medical, during a Starfleet infiltration, Jim was infected with a
virus.
This virus, ultimately resulted in the death of Captain Roberts, 19 years after James' birth.
James School life was relatively un-eventful, in 2425, James passed his Starfleet entrance exam, and was accepted. James began studying to become a Starfleet Tactical
officer, and, of course, he took the command school.
As part of his Tactical and Command training, James got a rare chance to be apart of the a very rare launch and mission. The USS Impenetrable, Commanded by Commodore
Jackson was set to launch November, 2426. James was accepted as a provisional member of the crew, unknown to him, though, Commodore Jackson was called away, for talks
about a brand new fleet, instead, the XO of the Impenetrable was to Captain this maiden voyage, Captain Jim Roberts, his father.
Less than 24 hours into the mission, Earth received a priority one transmission from Impenetrable, Commodore Jackson left the talks about Echo fleet and took Archangel to
meet Impenetrable, Jackson arrived moments too late, whilst 233 out of 234 crew members made it off, one Captain Roberts did not. In order for the escape pods to reach
minimum safe distance in time, Captain Roberts was forced to manually fly the Impenetrable away, Archangel arrived just too late to beam the Captain off.
James took leave from Starfleet Academy for a year, before rejoining in 2437, determined now more than ever.
James' first assignment was given to him by, now, Vice-Admiral Jackson, the Admiral has always watched over James, having been close friends with his father, it was a
promise he made, and intended to keep. James was assigned to the USS Enterprise - F, as a security officer. This assignment lasted four years, in that time he received a
promotion from Ensign, up to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
Lt. JG Roberts, was re-assigned to Archangel, a now ageing ship, but still very powerful, he was the Chief of Security/Tactical, his rank remained at Lt. JG, but he did receive a
promotion to Second Officer, 2 years after joining Archangels crew. Archangel was being used a remote outpost, so very rarely moved.
3 years after joining Archangel, Admiral Jackson, re-assigned Roberts to a research station, Starbase Asteria. Asteria had recently been transferred to Echo Fleet's Command
and Jackson wanted someone aboard the station he could trust, as Asteria was once under the command of Starfleet Intelligence.
Roberts was promoted to Executive Officer of Asteria, with a rank upgrade to a full Lieutenant.
