JAG
This policy governs how Earth’s Elite will enforce all rules and regulations and what actions they can and will take if any rules and regulations are broken. In unique cases, the senior staff may overrule any and all decisions made by any staff member of Earth’s Elite, but only in accordance to this policy, should a unique ruling be required, a hearing must be called. The JAG Council (Senior Staff) will hear both sides before calling a vote for a decision; the vote will be conducted privately between the JAG Council and must be unanimous.
Division Moderators & Events Managers are permitted to issue temporary rulings on any issue within their area, but the directors will have the final say. These staff members have the power to issue a ban, in accordance to the disciplinary policy, from their division and servers for a maximum of one (1) month only.
Division Sub-Director is permitted to issue permanent rulings on any issue, but this member’s rulings can be overruled by the director and senior staff if required. This staff member can ban, in accordance to the disciplinary policy, any member from their division and server for a maximum of six (6) months only.
Division Director is also permitted to issue permanent rulings on any issue; again this member’s rulings can be overruled by the senior staff if required. This staff member can ban any member from their division, in accordance to the disciplinary policy, for a maximum of twelve (12) months (one year) only. Should a longer or permanent ban be required, the senior staff are the only members with the authority to issue these.
Senior Staff are permitted to issue permanent rulings on any and all issues within the Earth’s Elite community. Once these decisions are made, they are final, they can, however, be appealed by any of the parties involved. These members can issue bans, in accordance to the disciplinary policy, for a maximum of twenty-four (24) months, unless a vote is called for a permanent ban from the community.
Each staff member (not including senior staff) can only issue rulings for divisions or departments that they have jurisdiction over, should any staff member witness rule breaking for a division or department they don’t have jurisdiction over, they should attempt to contact someone who does BEFORE taking action. The disciplinary policy does, however, grant any staff member with access the power to act on rule breaking for any department or division if the rule breaking is severe enough, regardless of whether they have jurisdiction or not, however, they should contact the relevant directors as they remain the only ones who can issue permanent rulings on their own department/division.
This policy is reviewed continuously, should you spot any discrepancies or errors, please contact the senior staff via the contact us button below.
