It's almost that time of year again, EE's 5th annual Autumn 24 hour event.
This event will be starting at the usual time of 7PM Community Time on Friday the 22nd of November 2019. The event as usual will be streamed live. You can watch the stream from the 24 hour event dashboard, which is arguably the best place to watch the stream from, this page will keep you up to date on the quotes and the event schedule as well as allow you to watch the full team (great for during the split team events and race to complete) - https://earthelite.co.uk/24h. For our guests you can watch the team from the public team viewing page https://earthelite.co.uk/live This years event has changed... Unlike previous events the full 24 hours isn't our primary goal, nor is it guaranteed. The first 12 hours of the event are guaranteed, so we'll be live until 7AM at the very least. For every £11 donated within guaranteed time, you guarantee another hour to that time. Should we receive the full £132 EE requires to operate for 1 full year, then the event will have a guaranteed time of 24 hours and at least one host must keep the event running. If guaranteed time runs out, then the hosts are free to call the event at any time or they are free to activate another hour (or more) of guaranteed time (which means donations will once again count to adding time to the stream) if they wish. The official name for this event is The Earth's Elite 24 Hour Stream Until You Dream! Orders will NOT be making a return this time around. They have instead been replaced by donation wheels. For every donation we receive each host (or member of staff) will spin a wheel of challenges/punishments/etc things they are willing to do (we each have 3-5 different things) and will carry that out for each donation. In the event of a high volume of donations we will spin once per hour so long as there have been donations that hour. Milestones will be making a return, but in a changed format, the 25% and 75% have been dropped, milestones will also be wheel spins with two things for each milestone, one 'punishment' will be a fun lighter thing the other will be something we are willing to do but don't want to (if that makes sense). There will be a 50% and 100% spin of the milestone wheels. Hosts and Staff are permitted to weight the wheel for the 100% milestone spin, but must not weight the better option more than 5X that of the worse. As EECoin has now been phased out of EE, earning this is no longer possible during this event. The full event schedule can be found here - https://earthelite.co.uk/info_content.php?id=00047 I know there are a lot of changes this time around, if you have any questions please do ask below or ask us live on stream and we'll be happy to answer your questions! |

Due to IRL events I will be pushing back this weeks Fright Friday stream to 21:30 instead of 19:00, we will still go the full 2 hours+ that are scheduled however.
Next week will return to the normal time of 19:00 for the last Fright Friday stream of this year. Don't forget about the team event on Friday the 25th at 21:00 though, should hopefully be a good stream! |

My apologies for the delay in getting this out, there was a server issue that prevented me from making this announcement on time.
Sunday 18th of August 2019, the Senior Staff of Earth's Elite and the Operations Team of The Forge signed a partnership agreement. This partnership agreement will move all gaming community aspects of EE to The Forge. They will be the ones running regular events and generally gaming. This will allow Earth's Elite to focus on something we have, for the most part, been doing already, streaming and content creation. We will run large scale stream events like we've been doing for a while (Big Community Challenge, Halloween Stream, Drunk Stream, 24 hour's, etc), we will also produce content and host streams for The Forge. This agreement is a great opportunity for EE and The Forge to help each other achieve their primary goals. There will be extensive changes throughout the EE site in the coming weeks, if you haven't already I recommend setting up an account over on The Forge - https://theforgegaming.net We will be keeping our forums here, but there will be some major changes coming to them to focus more on the streams etc. For full disclosure, you can view the agreement below... |

We have just released a major update for the Los Santos Life Server.
In order to play on the server you will now REQUIRE TS3 and the following plugin - https://www.earthelite.co.uk/downloads/RP/lslife_voip.ts3_plugin When connecting to the server you will need to be in the TS3 Channel 'Server VOIP Connect'. (Server admins you MUST have your client on PTT mode). Once connected to the FiveM server you will be moved to the 'Server VOIP' channel. Police & EMT, you no longer require your whisper lists, when on duty you can press LEFT SHIFT + LEFT ALT and choose radio channels through there. You should select the EMS/LEO Shared channel, then select your departments channel. Pressing LEFT SHIFT + F1 after that will switch between to the two channels. To broadcast on the radio channel press CAPSLOCK, to talk in-game press whatever your TS3 PTT key is. To change your voice range the key has remained unchanged, it is F11. This update has been implemented to improve voice quality and improve radio functionality. In the future updates civilian radio channels will be made available for everyone to use, so this change has opened up a lot of options for us, we will even be able to tie phone calls into this in the future. Any issues please contact me directly. |
