Cookies we set
We only use cookies the site needs to work. There's no advertising and no tracking or analytics, so we don't ask before setting these.
| Cookie | What it's for | How long |
|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and protects forms from being sent by other sites. | Until you close your browser |
| Forum sign-in cookies | Set by the forums when you sign in, so the site and forums know it's you. Includes the two-step verification cookie if you use it. | As long as you chose when signing in |
ee_twitch | Remembers whether you said yes or no to loading Twitch players. | 1 year |
Some pages also save small settings in your browser's storage, like the time zone on event schedules or whether jump scares are on. These never leave your device.
Twitch
Streamers' pages and the multi view show live streams and chat from Twitch. When those load, Twitch can set its own cookies, which we don't control (see Twitch's cookie policy). So we ask before loading them.
Your choice: you haven't been asked yet.
