Why dont we all assign ourselves a callsign when doing any FSX event would make it more fun or something when flying together
-
When the VA gets setup on the site a call sign will be given to those part of the VA.
Elite Air 1 is taken :P
-
Used to fly with the callsign Excalibur and then the flight no when I had my own va
-
Dark Descender for me :P
-
Flying Finn!
-
Suppose for none VA flights I could be: EE Actual :P
-
I should be getting FSX soon, so pre-emptively I'm going for:
Lunchbox :P
-
So...
When we're all in FSX Lumber is going to be stuck in a rock, whilst Canio free falls in the night, I'll be commanding a ship, and Scott will be providing the lunch.
-
I am also going to reserve the name: Impotent Rage!
-
When I was playing FSX, I got an idea - Why not have the Callsign go by the member ID when flying VA flights?
For ex.
EE1 - Callum Jackson
EE16 Canio22
EE18 Khta
EE19 Bofum
EE37 Shoot
EE54 LumberJack
etc...
Thoughts?

The system I am designing for VA flights will give you a callsign for your flights, you wont get to keep the same one from flight to flight. Only Special Elite-Air pilots will be able to, the only two pilots who'll have a dedicated callsign will be myself and Bofum for the time being.
The logs will then show Elite-Air-01, Elite-Air-01-A, etc etc, but for every other flight it will go from EA-3 right up until EA-9999, then repeat, but adding a letter at the end. The callsign that you'd use wouldn't have the letter (that's just so the system knows the difference), the VA System would assign you this callsign when you take a flight.
There will be two different callsigns for Elite-Air (that I'm planning)
Elite-Air-# - Normal Cargo/PAX Flight
Elite-Air-Training-# - Pilot Training Flight (Probably wont be used much, so wondering if it's even worth it).
