Messing around in Photoshop

(1/1)

TalonflameHD:
Hey folks!

So, I've been messing around in Photoshop and came up with the idea of personalized image signatures for the forum; based on your STO character. It's something a few groups already do and I inspired the design from a collage of them.

Example: my character is Jessica Nash; Admiral in rank (level 55) and commands an Odyssey-class starship [T6].

See the attachment below.

Feedback would be appreciated. ^_^

{EE} Callum Jackson:
Looks good.

We've discussed doing forum signature images a few times here, I think the general consensus is that we should, but none of us have ever gotten around to designing anything.

I like the idea, though maybe not limit it to STO characters only, maybe have the name, rank, etc reflect positions here within EE also, give them the choice.  Of course that's if you were to be creating signatures for all EE members........On that note...If you wanted to be the go to guy for getting an EE forum signature, I'm sure the senior staff will be happy for you to do that.

I do like the design though.

TalonflameHD:
I have the basic template I threw together saved; it wouldn't take much to make alterations.

The signature image doesn't have to be STO-character based; that was the easiest thing to reference when creating it. Background image could be anything; whatever information you wanted shown on it could also be added too.

If there's enough support for the idea of sig-img's - I'm willing to bash together whatever it is you'd like. Current timescale on completion (given current schedule) is <24h.

EDIT: attaching the most basic sig-img I could do; but like I said - anything can be added. :)

{EE} Shoot:
I like both the signatures and which I'd honestly prefer is the STO one, but I also like the second one.

Thanks for the feedback, Shoot!

Both designs are easily modifiable so personalizing them to anyone's specs shouldn't be that difficult.
